How to choose your CBD oil?

CBD Oils 5 to 40%.

While there are many CBD oils on the market, not all of them are of good quality and meet the same needs. Are you looking for a reliable oil that's right for you? To make the best choice, here are the criteria to consider.

1. The percentage of CBD oil

The dosage of a CBD oil varies between 5% and 40%. Whatever the percentage, the molecule remains the same: what changes is the CBD concentration. As a general rule, the stronger the symptom to be relieved, the higher the percentage.

However, there's no such thing as a universal dosage, as each person has their own sensitivity to CBD. To determine the right dosage for your needs, discover our automatic dosage calculator. It depends on factors such as your weight and age. If you've never taken CBD before, start with a low dosage and gradually increase according to the effects you feel.

2. The spectrum

Some CBD oils are said to be "broad spectrum", while others say "pure isolate". These are the types of CBD extracts. We explain:

  •   CBD isolate

This is a pure extract containing only CBD. No other compounds from the cannabis plant, such as THC, are present in its composition.

  •   Broad-spectrum oil

This oil contains other cannabinoids with beneficial effects, such as CBC, CBN, CBG and terpenes. It does not, however, contain THC. The advantage over isolates? Thanks to the combination of several molecules, it allows you to benefit from an entourage effect, and is therefore more effective, according to several studies[1].

  •   Full-spectrum oil

It contains the same compounds as broad-spectrum oil. The only difference is that it also contains THC in small quantities, still below the legal threshold of 0.3%.

3. CBD oil quality

To meet your needs, your CBD oil must come from a reliable seller. It's important to choose a company that uses an independent independent laboratory to ensure the quality control of its products, and whose test results are freely available. The reason? Unverified oils may contain unknown ingredients (not indicated on the label) or have an inaccurate CBD concentration.

Labels should also include ingredients, dosage and manufacturer's contact details. Finally, beware of false claims: CBD oil is not a medicine and should not be sold as such.

4. The aroma of CBD oil

Some manufacturers offer both plain and flavored CBD oils. Each formula has its own advantages: it's up to you to choose the one that suits you best! As an example, here's what differentiates our oils at cb'dé:
