The various benefits of food at

hemp

Hemp is a plant that has been used by mankind for decades for its various benefits. So offering a range of hemp-based food products was an obvious choice for us.
Our CBD products can be used to treat illnesses, to relieve you on a daily basis and help you feel better, but eating healthy foods also helps you to stay healthy and prevent illnesses.

Our food products are packed with nutrients and minerals to help your body on a daily basis, strengthening it and giving it the elements it needs for good health.

Staging shelled hemp seeds

Here are just a few of the benefits of our hemp products:

Prevention of cardiovascular disease (e.g. heart attacks) and maintenance of cholesterol levels thanks to the presence of omegas 3-6-9. These omegas (in particular docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), a member of the omega-3 family) are essential to the proper functioning of our bodies, which can't synthesize them themselves, so it's vital to have sources of omegas in our diet. Our hulled hemp seeds are an excellent source of omegas, without being overloaded with unhealthy intakes (carbohydrates, for example, with only 8g per 100g).

According to theWHO, we need between 0.8g and 1.1g/day of ALA and between 0.3g and 0.5g/day of EPA and DHA, all three members of the Omega 3 family. They are present in various foods (fish, oil, etc.).

Limit aging and preserve cells thanks to the presence of Vitamin E. Quite simply, this means reducing the risk of illnesses such as cancer, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Vitamin E is essential for the good health of our bodies, as it has a strong antioxidant effect and helps to reduce free radicals.

Nuts and oils are excellent sources of Vitamin E, and our Organic Hemp Oil contains > 90mg, a perfect source!

A little added bonus: it also boosts the immune system, something not to be overlooked!

Promotes muscle development and balanced intestinal flora. Some of our products, such as Hemp Flour and Hemp Proteins, are rich in complete, easily digestible plant fibers and proteins.

Fibers are also essential to the proper functioning of the body, as they regulate intestinal health and even reduce the risk of certain diseases such as diabetes.

As for proteins, they are highly prized by athletes who use them to build muscle mass, but many of them are not easily digestible and cause stomach aches and cramps. Hemp proteins are naturally digestible (thanks in particular to the presence of albumin and edestin, which are naturally highly digestible in contrast to other proteins) and therefore provide the body with the intake it needs without the bad side effects!

But they're also lower in calories and carbohydrates than traditional foods. So they're a source of good nutrients and minerals without being overloaded with bad stuff.
Our Hemp Pasta, for example, contains just 325 kcal per 100g and only 47g of carbohydrates per 100g.

Our Hemp Proteins are rich in glutamic acid (for muscle recovery, prostate health and brain function) and aspartic acid, which promotes the endogenous production of testosterone and progesterone, and even has a positive influence on cognitive capacity and memory in humans, among other things!

And in general, hemp food contains a lot of iron, magnesium, potassium and manganese: highly prized by sportsmen and women for boosting sporting performance, as well as protein for muscle development. Necessary daily intakes for a healthy body.

FAQ

What is hemp food?

Hemp is one of the oldest plants domesticated by man, and can be transformed into a wide variety of products, including food! In fact, several parts of the hemp plant can be used to make food. The seeds can be shelled and used as a topping on salads, but they can also be de-oiled and crushed to make flour or protein, for example. Oil can also be extracted by cold extraction, to be used as olive oil.

What are the benefits of hemp food?

There are so many of them! Very rich in nutrients such as omegas 3-6-9, for example, as well as natural fibers (these fibers are naturally present in the hemp plant, so they're easy to digest). In fact, our flour is very rich in complete proteins, more so than red meat!

Hemp seed heart oil is also very rich in "good fatty acids". Apart from that, these products are very rich in minerals and vitamins, and some of them are even gluten-free.

Of course, the whole range is organic and French, vegetarian or vegan - what better way to look after yourself?

But does edible hemp contain THC?

No! Our entire food range is THC-free. The products are extracted from the raw plant and the cannabinoids are separated, so no trace of THC is present.

How to use food products

It all depends on the product, but nothing too complicated! We have hemp seeds that you can place on salads to add a little crunch and nutrients. Our hemp pasta can be cooked just like standard pasta, and our hemp flour can be used to make bread or pastries (although don't use
as much as traditional flour). Our hemp oil can be used in the same way as olive oil, on your salads or dishes, and our hemp proteins will enrich your smoothies to give you a boost!
In the end, it's simple cooking, and hemp doesn't change anything.
