Cheap CBD flowers: Small Buds and Trim CBD in the foreground

When we talk about cheap CBD flowers, we often find small buds and trim CBD as trendy products with a price per gram often between €0.70 and €2.

Trim CBD, cheap flower crumbs

Trim is the perfect product for small budgets, composed of flower crumbs and leftover CBD flower manicure, and is often offered at very attractive prices, especially for large quantities.

Less qualitative than flowers, trim nevertheless offers interesting aromas and still contains trichomes and terpenes containing cannabinoids (CBD, CBN...). It can be found at very low prices for large quantities: trim cbd 100g for just €0.75 a gram, compared with €4.99 a gram for the same quantity of indoor flowers.

Small Buds CBD, small flowers at a small price

Small buds cbd are ideal for people looking for cheap CBD but also better quality than trim. Here we find the small flowers that aren't big enough to be sold in packaging, but are still CBD flowers in their own right, not crumbs.

The product is exactly the same as a traditional flower, but in mini format. Prices are very attractive, with 10g at €1.99 per gram and 100g at €1.25 per gram, 5 times cheaper than an indoor flower.

The type of flower cultivation influences the selling price

CBD flowers are grown using the same techniques as in traditional agriculture, and the costs associated with the different types of cultivation affect the cost of the product.

Indeed, certain hemp cultivation methods are more or less costly and require different human and financial investments. They also result in a different product quality, which inevitably affects the final selling price.

Types of crops: from the cheapest
to the most expensive flowers

We'll take you through the different types of CBD flower cultivation, from the cheapest to the most expensive, explaining the impact on the quality of the final product and the differences in production costs involved.

Culture Outdoor: The cheapest flower with the lowest quality

This is the traditional method, as for an outdoor vegetable garden. The flowers are grown directly on the ground and are exposed to the vagaries of the weather, which can cause problems in the event of storms, hail or even pests that could damage or eat the cannabis plants. It's a method that doesn't require a lot of financial resources to install, but which produces smaller, airier, leafier CBD flowers.

Culture Greenhouse: An inexpensive flower with less quality

These flowers are grown in greenhouses, which means they are better able to control the vagaries of the weather, without having to invest in complete equipment (light, air filtration, water distribution system...). This method produces fairly compact, large buds, without producing flowers as fleshy and large as those grown indoors.

Glasshouse: Similar to Greenhouse, but higher quality and therefore more expensive.

Very similar to greenhouse cultivation, with the difference that here the greenhouse is "hard", generally made of glass. Once again, this optimizes production and ensures fairly controlled growth. Investments are a little higher than for traditional greenhouse cultivation, but the flowers are generally more compact and of higher quality, with larger sizes.

Indoor cultivation: One of the most expensive but also one of the highest quality

These are flowers that are grown indoors, so the cultivation team can control all the elements that will enable the flower to develop: air, water and light (mainly). This is the best-known and most widely used cultivation method, and produces the highest-quality flowers, since you can give them the perfect amount of water, air and light they need to produce the best-quality flowers.
They are therefore not at the mercy of the vagaries of the weather (storms, hail,
rain...). However, this is a very costly method, since it requires an investment
in major equipment (led lamps, filtration system, large space, etc.) and very high fixed costs (electricity, water, etc.).

Buds are regularly calibrated and manicured before curing to improve their quality and obtain a perfect flower.

Hydroponics: Expensive but high quality

This growing method is often used indoors, but can also be used in greenhouses. It involves growing cannabis plants without soil, in pots with a neutral substrate instead of soil (often clay), connected to an irrigation system and liquid fertilizer if desired.

The flowers produced by this type of cultivation are often very high quality, compact and large in size. Costs are lower than for indoor cultivation, but still very high compared with greenhouse or outdoor cultivation.

Cheap CBD flower, beware of chemical additions and dried flowers

Inexpensive cbd flowers can look very attractive when you buy them, and of course they can be of very good quality, but there are a few things to be wary of before you buy so you don't end up with a poor-quality product or one containing synthetic additions.

We will briefly explain the different elements to check and verify before buying cheap flowers often entitled "Low price CBD flowers" or "Cheap CBD flowers", "Special offers"...

Old and poorly preserved batches: dry
flowers and loss of quality

It's a situation that happens very frequently: retailers sometimes have old batches in their storage warehouses and want to get rid of them, so they offer very tempting deals at a very low price per gram. However, these flowers are often old and have been poorly stored in plastic bags for several months, so they have lost some of their quality: color, scent, aroma, trichomes and terpenes.

To avoid this situation, try to check that the photos are of the flower in question and not of another flower on the site. And check the color and quality of the flowers in the photo. They shouldn't be too brown or yellow, which means they've dried out.

New synthetic derivatives (THCPO, HHCPO, H4CBD...):
cheap cbd but dangerous to health

The cannabidiol market has been swamped by the appearance of new molecules in recent years. AfterHHC was banned in 2023, various laboratories began a "new molecule race" to replace HHC with more or less similar molecules not yet banned by the government: THCP, THCPO, HHCPO, H4CBD...

These molecules, known as neo-cannabinoids, are sold on the Internet at very affordable prices, and are often offered in the form of very substantial promotions (-50%, -70%) because their production costs are very low: these are high-margin products for retailers, and it's very easy to offer flash promotions to attract consumers.

As a reminder, these molecules are synthetic derivatives of cannabinoids, often manufactured using chemicals such as solvents. They are therefore chemical, not natural as many may think, and present health risks when consumed. What's more, we have no experience of their impact on the body, and little idea of the risks associated with their consumption.

In early June, the ANSM banned five new molecules to combat these new chemical cannabinoids, the risks of which are as yet unknown.

An important point to make about the price of CBD flowers is that the cost of French flowers and imported flowers can vary by as much as double.

The CBD flower market has only really opened up in France in the last few years, whereas in some countries, such as Switzerland, Italy and Spain, it has been open for over 10 years. There is therefore a big difference between France and these countries in terms of infrastructure and financial resources for flower production, which inevitably has an impact on selling prices.

French CBD flowers are therefore rarely the cheapest, since they are generally produced by small growers who started up a year or two ago and are still at the beginning of their operations, with all the problems that entails (investment in equipment, etc.), and their flowers are sold at a higher price on the market.

Flowers grown abroad are produced by established growers who invested in production a long time ago and have been able to amortize their start-up costs. Their production costs are optimized and quantities generally higher, enabling them to achieve economies of scale.

Cheap CBD flowers are therefore often foreign!

FAQ

How should CBD flowers be stored?

CBD flowers are a "fragile" product, so they need to be cared for and stored correctly.
In the team, it's often said that they're like good wine: they improve over time if they're stored properly.

For optimum preservation, flowers need to be protected from light and air, but also have the right level of hygrometry (the right amount of humidity). This will ensure maximum preservation of the trichomes, little balls of resin containing the cannabinoids, including cannabidiol.

Addiction risk and the presence of THC?

All our CBD flowers comply with current French legislation and therefore contain -0.3% THC. This means there's no risk of addiction, since the amount of THC is infinitesimal, and the flowers have no "psychotropic" or "high" effect. They are even recommended as a remedy for certain addictions (tobacco, THC...).

Product origin and quality

Our CBD flowers come from France and Switzerland. We have taken care to meet the growers in person to ensure that they use the best production methods and respect the plant (no chemical additives). They are all 100% natural, grown outdoors, in greenhouses or indoors.

How to use our CBD flowers?

There are several ways to do this: infusion or decanting.

Where do our CBD flowers come from?

We offer CBD flowers from France (especially for our outdoor products) and Switzerland (for our greenhouse and indoor products). We have a very large majority of Swiss flowers, as this country is ahead of the game in terms of cultivation methods, particularly indoor, which means we can offer you very high quality products.

Can flowers be used to treat pathologies?

Like all products containing cannabidiol, CBD flowers can be used to treat a variety of conditions, thanks to the interaction of this cannabinoid via our nervous system and endocannabinoid receptors. Our CBD flowers contain up to 10% CBD, making them ideal for pathologies such as sleep disorders, anxiety or muscular pain.
However, when it comes to accompanying pathologies, we recommend CBD oil, which, thanks to its higher concentration (up to 40%) and better bioavailability (sublingual), is better suited to accompanying pathologies.
