What is a small bud CBD?
CBD small buds are small flowers that don't respect the size of the flowers sold individually, and are therefore considered "unsaleable" for traditional varieties. It's the same as for fruit grading: strawberries or raspberries that don't respect a certain size are discarded.
Calibrating small buds
Small buds are small flowers ranging in size from 0.8mm to 13mm. Smaller or larger sizes may be found in our small buds, but the majority are this size.
To better understand, standard indoor flowers range in size from 13mm to 70mm , with an average between 40 and 50mm.
A difference in size of several centimetres can therefore be found between an indoor flower and small cbd buds.
Small bud quality
Contrary to popular belief, small buds are just as high quality as large-calibre flowers. Indeed, it's simply the size of the flower that changes, but it remains composed of the same elements (trichomes, terpenes, cannabinoids) and is therefore just as loaded with CBD.
At cb'dé, small buds are sieved (up to 13mm) from each batch of indoor flowers of our gram to obtain a mixture of small buds of the same quality as our flowers.

Small buds are much cheaper than traditional flowers, and that's where it gets interesting!
The appearance and size of the flowers are important factors for some consumers, and strongly influence the price. Small buds are much cheaper, starting at 1.99€/g for 10 grams, and going up to 1.25€/g for 100g.

Just because you buy cheap small buds doesn't mean you can't preserve them well! Like all flowers, small buds will lose quality if they are poorly preserved (aroma, color, benefits).

Small buds are also analyzed once produced to ensure that the level is not exceeded by mixing different varieties and therefore different levels.
Risk of addiction?
There's no risk of addiction, since the amount of THC is minute, so the flowers have no "psychotropic" or "high" effect. They are even recommended as a remedy for certain addictions (tobacco, THC...).
