Organic hemp oil / 250ml

Regular price 11,90€
Taxes included.

Our hemp oil is cold-pressed and produced in an ecologically responsible way. It is considered a high-quality gourmet oil, made from the heart of shelled, lightly toasted hemp seeds, and develops a nutty flavor that will enhance your dishes and salads to the delight of your taste buds.
As with the rest of our hemp products, our hemp oil is bursting with nutrients such as omegas 3 & 6. Very rich and balanced, these "good fatty acids" are present in a proportion of 1/3 in order to provide the share of the latter that our body cannot produce on its own, and which it nevertheless greatly needs to maintain "normal" cholesterol levels.

Of course, this oil is vegetarian and vegan for your pleasure!

Hemp oil and its benefits for the body

Since hemp oil is extracted from the seeds of the same plant, which are bursting with nutrients, it's excellent for your health!
In fact, it will play a crucial role in providing your body with unsaturated (and saturated) fatty acids, as well as omega 3-6 to help regulate your cholesterol levels.

Naturally rich and balanced in omegas 3-6 :
Hemp oil contains over 75% polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are known to prevent the onset of cardiovascular disease (heart attack, cholesterol, heart disease...), but also to ensure the proper functioning of the cerebral and hormonal systems, for example.

Naturally rich in Vitamin E :
With over 90mg of vitamin E (for a 100g ratio), hemp oil is an excellent source of this vitamin, whose benefits are well proven (it preserves the body's cells and limits aging thanks to its antioxidant properties).

If we compare hemp oil with olive oil, for example, we can see that it contains far more omega 3-6 (75% per 100g), compared with only 6-10% per 100g for olive oil.

FAQ

What is hemp food?

Hemp is one of the oldest plants domesticated by man, and can be transformed into a wide variety of products, including food! In fact, several parts of the hemp plant can be used to make food. The seeds can be shelled and used as a topping on salads, but they can also be de-oiled and crushed to make flour or protein, for example. Oil can also be extracted by cold extraction, to be used as olive oil.

But does edible hemp contain THC?

No! Our entire food range is THC-free. The products are extracted from the raw plant and the cannabinoids are separated, so no trace of THC is present.

Hemp oil, from production to processing

Hemp is used for many purposes, from thermal insulation to textiles, and is one of the most environmentally-friendly plants to grow (it requires little water and absorbs a lot of CO2). It produces a large number of hemp seeds, which are transformed into a variety of food products.
Hemp oil is extracted from these seeds in a natural and precise process called cold pressing. During pressing, the oil is extracted from the seeds, separating the "kernel" and the seed shell from the oil.
Our oil is cold-pressed using the traditional method, without chemicals and in a way that preserves all the good nutrients present in the hemp seed. The result is a rich, nutritious oil that is excellent for the body.

Can be used to make homemade cosmetics

As mentioned above, our hemp oil can also be used as a raw cosmetic ingredient. In fact, as it is 100% natural (organic) and cold-pressed, it can be used both for food and as a component in the manufacture of homemade cosmetics. In fact, it can be used as a carrier oil (replacing jojoba oil, for example) and combined with other products such as Aloe Vera to create cosmetics that take full advantage of hemp oil's benefits and nutrients.
