Meet the founders of cb'dé!

For our first BLOGwe wanted to introduce you to the co-founders of the registered trademark cb'dé trademark, and to explain how this idea came about, for what purpose and with what objectives. First of all, to show how close we are to our customers, we felt it essential to tell you our little story, so that you can get to know who we are, but also to share our motivations and values with you.

WHO WE ARE

It all began in September 2014 on the bench of Lyon 3's faculty, this back-to-school session brought together the two founders of the company SAS THITAN or cb'dé.

Thibaud and Gaëtan were just getting to know each other at the time, and had no idea what was in store for the rest of their story.

In just a few days together, they begin a true friendship.

Throughout the year, they exchanged, shared and developed common ideas on many different points. But both already have a common passion that drives their daily lives: " Cannabis ".

Cannabis is a controversial product at the moment, and the debate is still closed in France, even though it's one of the most widely consumed products in the world and in Europe.

During their Bachelor's degree in "Management and Business Administration", they learn the basics of designing and running a business.

It was during an annual game organized by the faculty that they realized how complementary they were when it came to running a business. They won the game for all Lyon 3 faculty bachelor's degrees, which enabled them to take part in the national final in Toulouse. They competed against the 26 best pairs in France, representing the city of Lyon, and finished in ^5th place, confirming their shared desire to become entrepreneurs.

After this year of undergraduate studies, they are both taking their "1st professional steps".

Both in the retail sector, Thibaud is thinking of moving up the ladder, Gaëtan feels a greater need to travel, for personal development and inspiration.

Despite taking a completely different turn and the 9,000 km separating them (France-Costa Rica), they maintain their closeness by checking in regularly.

They continue on their way, Gaëtan returned to France in 2016 to begin building his professional and personal life, while Thibaud reaches his professional and personal goals sooner than he had anticipated, getting married in 2018. Their life's goals are taking shape, and they remain close (Thibaud is best man at Gaëtan in 2018). On the professional side, their diverse experiences motivate them to try their hand at setting up their own business.

2019 is the year in which everything will fall into place, a year in which for ThibaudBetween changing his daughter's diapers and sleepless nights, it was difficult for him to digest the fatigue caused by the plant's THC.

For Gaëtan advanced life and family health problems (his mom's brain cancer, Parkinson's) have also opened his eyes to a form of " Cannabis " quite different from those consumed up to now. The two entrepreneurs parted ways with marijuana to focus on another cannabinoid found in " Cannabis - Hemp ", CBD.

At that point, they really turned their attention to CBD, a completely different molecule from the one they knew (THC), yet extracted from the same plant.

As the research progressed, the molecule with multiple benefits for body and mind showed them that it was the right one for them personally.

Thibaud and Gaëtan deepen their knowledge of Cannabis, and especially of its effects on the human/animal body. They learn that we all possess cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2) which receive the various cannabinoids communicated by our endocannabinoid system, also known as "SEC" (present in our nervous system). The functions of this system are long to list, but to sum up this complex system, it serves to maintain " homeostasis To sum up this complex system, it serves to maintain the body's "homeostasis" or, more simply, a healthy internal balance (weight management, body temperature, blood sugar levels, heart rate...).

Taking a personal interest in this market, they realized that the CBD market is overflowing with inaccuracies and customer deception. Being particularly attached to high quality but above all natural products, respecting the plant during and after cultivation, they can't really find what they want, or at exorbitant prices.

It was thanks to all this research that we decided to create our own company and ended up registering our trademark: cb'dé.

Why cb'dé ? Because it's certified' well' dosed!
