Where does trim CBD come from?
The trim is the result of the CBD flower manicure stage, which is one of the crucial steps in obtaining quality CBD flowers.
It consists of trimming small leaves and various elements (branches, etc.) that are "excess" and that we don't want to keep on the CBD flowers.
Flower manicure is generally carried out before drying (to encourage drying). A second manicure can be carried out after the plant has dried to obtain perfect flowers!
With the modernization of cannabis production processes, some growers are using trimming machines, similar to large washing machines, to manicure kilos of flowers very quickly.
At cb'dé, we prioritize quality (some might say we're old-school) and do our manicuring by hand, in order to obtain quality CBD flowers.
Conservation
Quality means preservation, because there's no point in having quality flowers if you can't preserve them properly to enjoy their benefits and flavours.
To achieve this, we've teamed up with a patented US brand: Cvault + Boveda, the experts in cannabis flower preservation!
Today, there's no better solution for preserving flowers.
The principle is simple: preserve flowers in the best possible conditions, i.e. without letting them see light and without letting them come into contact with open air. But that's not enough: Cvault has taken the concept one step further!
They have created an airtight box and a humidifier bag to preserve the flowers in the best possible conditions, we explain:
Cvault: Made from food-grade stainless steel to keep out UV rays, with a hermetically sealed lid (with silicone seal) to prevent air from getting in, the Cvault box will prevent premature deterioration of your flowers and their terpenes.
Boveda: Inside this box, a Boveda HumidiPack guarantees a humidity level of 62% (ideal for preservation). It is designed to absorb or release moisture as needed to maintain this level at all times.
FAQ
Trim, why the name?
We're sometimes a little confused about the term " trim CBD ". In France, many people know it as " crumbs de CBD " and don't understand the American term.
Trim comes from the term trimming "The term is commonly used on the French market, but comes from the American market, which opened up long before ours, and many of whose terms are now used by the French.
Homemade CBD trim
We can't stress it enough, but our CBD trim is made from our CBD flowers (Indoor, Greenhouse, Glasshouse, Outdoor) by hand by our teams.
It's collected at the flower manicuring stage, then sieved to remove any bits of branch (some may slip through, and we apologize in advance - perfection doesn't exist!). Once sifted, the flowers are stored in our Cvault before being bagged and delivered to your mailbox.
Does trim contain THC?
It's made from our CBD flowers, which contain THC, so it's bound to contain a little of the latter! However, we comply with current legislation, which only authorizes THC content of 0.3% or less on the market.
All our flowers are analyzed before they are manicured, and our trim is regularly sent for analysis to ensure that it does not exceed levels.
The flowers that make up our CBD trim
If you like our trim, you're bound to like the flowers it comes from!
