All you need to know about 20% CBD oil
CBD 20% oil is a product that starts out with a high concentration of cannabidiol. In fact, with a total concentration of 2000mg of CBD, this oil is generally recommended for serious pathologies. Made from organic hemp, it is 100% natural and 100% French, from cultivation to manufacture.
What percentage of CBD to choose?
To better understand the different CBD percentages available for our CBD oils, we've summarized the link between percentage and cannabidiol concentration in the table below.
Let's take the example of20% CBD oil, in a 10ml bottle, that makes a total of 2000mg of CBD, 10ml of oil corresponding to 200 drops, so we have a concentration of 10mg of cannabidiol per drop of oil.
You can make the same calculation for all available percentages, the principle is the same. The percentage of a CBD oil therefore corresponds to its cannabidiol content, higher or lower depending on the percentage chosen.
We recommend low-percentage oils for mild pathologies and for people wishing to discover CBD. Oils with higher percentages are recommended for people with heavier pathologies and/or who are already familiar with CBD use (osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia...).
However, increasing the percentage of oils simply allows you to regulate and adapt your intake. An oil with a high percentage, such as20% CBD oil , enables a person taking cannabidiol on a 40mg basis, for example, to take just four drops a day, as opposed to eight if the person were using a 10% oil. This makes taking the oil less restrictive on a daily basis, and extends the life of the bottle.
How to dose CBD oil?
That's the big question, how do you dose20% CBD oil ? This will depend on a number of factors, one of which is your body. Indeed, even if we can suggest dosages according to pathologies (more or less severe), one of the elements to take into account is your human body, because every metabolism is different. That's why it's important to start low, then work your way up to find the dosage your body needs to derive the maximum benefit from CBD, without over-consuming it, which would lead to higher expenses, which would be pointless.
We're going to suggest different approaches and dosages of CBD according to pathologies/needs rather than offering a percentage of oil for a need, since as we've seen, the difference between higher and lower percentages of CBD oil lies almost solely in the number of drops to be administered.
Following our example of20% CBD oil, you can use this oil for the recommendations below, based on the number of drops to be taken according to the recommended level of CBD (in mg).

When to take CBD oil?
We recommend takingCBD oil 20% a few minutes after a meal. In fact, we recommend spreading CBD intake throughout the day on a three-take basis. One in the morning, after breakfast, one at lunchtime after a meal, and one in the evening, also after a meal.
Why take20% CBD oil after a meal? Simply because cannabidiol will be more easily ingested by the mucous membranes of your digestive system if it is accompanied by fat. CBD absorption will also be spread out throughout the digestive process, facilitating its action.
Which CBD oil to choose?
There are two main types of20% CBD oil:
- Natural oil: This oil is made from 100% hemp, allowing CBD to be ingested more slowly by the body, and is therefore recommended for people who need a constant supply of CBD.
- Coconut oil: This CBD oil is composed of hemp oil and coconut oil. Coconut oil supports the hemp oil and allows the CBD to be ingested more quickly by the body, so the effects can be felt more quickly. This 20% CBD oil is ideal for people with pathologies involving sudden attacks, pain...

Does the oil contain THC?
Our CBD oils are devoid of any trace of THC. In fact, since they are extracted in such a way as to separate THC from other cannabinoids, no high or psychotropic effects can be felt, and there are no addictive effects or problems with saliva tests, for example.

Natural composition and production
As you now know, we're fervent advocates of 100% natural and French whenever possible. For our CBD oils, we chose organically-grown hemp from Brittany and a manufacturer (for oil processing) from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Why is the sublingual absorption channel the best?
This method optimizes CBD absorption, since it is directly assimilated by the mucous membranes under the tongue. This results in better neurotransmission of cannabinoids (50-70% according to studies) than the oral route, for example, where some of them are lost during digestion.
Can CBD interact with drugs?
Yes, it's possible, and we don't talk about it enough! In fact, cannabidiol can interact with various molecules found in medicines. No risk or danger to health, however, drug interaction can diminish or cancel out the effect of the drug and/or CBD.
